Markus Stockhausen solo
The name PHOENIX stands for intuitive solo improvisation. Sound can elevate the listener, can give his imagination wings and open the inner space of phantasy, perception and consciousness. Colourful sound sculptures are born within the moment. In his solo programme PHOENIX Markus Stockhausen draws on the experience gathered in the course of his 40-year musical career. He plays classical, contemporary and jazz music all at the highest international level. Here he plays intuitively, chiefly on his beloved flugelhorn as well as on other instruments. Either purely accoustic or with electronic accompaniment, intuitive music is always new, born completely of the moment (more details at Intuitive Music and More).
