Composition for outdoor performance of numerous instrumentalists and singers
GeZEITen had been comissioned by the 25. Niedersächsischen Musiktage and the premiere took place on September 4th, 2011 at the seaside of Cuxhaven, northern Germany, at the Grimmershörner Bucht, performed by about 500 musicians, mainly wind players, woodwinds and brass, and choirs, and about 20 accordeons, conducted by Markus Stockhausen, who also played the solo trumpet part.
