Avvicinandomi al mondo sonoro di Markus Stockhausen ho scoperto vie che non sapevo fossero così visibili per chi le sa vedere, e ho assaggiato sapori che sembravano nuovi ma in realtà appartengono all’archivio sonoro nascosto che ognuno di noi, più o meno, ha nel profondo dell’anima. Con questo progetto, completato dalla partecipazione dei brillantissimi Furio Di Castri, Achille Succi e Danilo Tarso, ho voluto ricreare quella magia che tanto mi aveva ammaliato: suonare liberi e gentili, decodificare un segno come fosse una nota e viceversa, usare materiali melodici, ritmici, armonici, timbrici come punto di partenza e porsi come obiettivo un’altra traccia musicale, come fossero tante boe per navigare nel mare dei suoni, paletti per sciare uno slalom, obbligati che si trasformano in piaceri da assaporare, per poi gustarne un altro, e un altro ancora, e così via fino ad esser sazi.”

Approaching the sound world of Markus Stockhausen I discovered ways that I didn’t know were so visible to those who know how to see them, and I tasted flavors that seemed new but actually belong to the hidden sound archive that each of us, more or less, has in the depths of our soul. With this project, completed by the participation of the brilliant Furio Di Castri, Achille Succi and Danilo Tarso, I wanted to recreate that magic that had bewitched me so much: playing free and gentle, decoding a sign as if it were a note and vice versa, using melodic, rhythmic, harmonic, timbral materials as a starting point and setting another musical track as a goal, as if they were so many buoys to navigate in the sea of sounds, poles to ski a slalom, obligatories that turn into pleasures to be savoured, and then enjoy another, and another, and so on until you are fullfilled.“
