Markus Stockhausen is invited to perform at the 3rd edition of the Festival “Show of Hands” in Tehran
Markus will perform PHOENIX, which stands for intuitive solo improvisation. Intuitive music is always new, born completely of the moment. Sound can elevate the listener, can give his imagination wings and open the inner space of phantasy, perception and consciousness. Colourful sound sculptures are born within the moment.
In his solo programme PHOENIX Markus Stockhausen draws on the experience gathered in the course of his 40-year musical career. He has performed classical, contemporary and jazz music all at the highest international level. Here he plays intuitively, chiefly on his beloved flugelhorn as well as on other instruments. He will also bring his electronic sound tools.
