Moving Sounds will perform in Assisi

Together with Fabrizio Ottaviucci (piano) and Andrea Ceccomorri (flute) Tara Bouman and Markus Stockhausen will perform Intuitive Music.

Tara Bouman (clarinet, bass clarinet) and Markus Stockhausen (trumpet, piccolo trumpet, flugelhorn) have been playing together in the duo MOVING SOUNDS since 2002. The new CD RITUAL has been released in September 2015 with purely intuitive music.

It is the first time after many years that Fabrizio Ottaviucci performs again with Tara and Markus. Markus met Fabrizio for the first time exactly 30 years ago in Assisi. So this will be a very special jubilee concert. Also Andrea Ceccomorri Markus met 30 years ago in Assisi.

Moving Sounds

MOVING SOUNDS gave concerts in Italy, Spain, Great Britain, France, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Norway, Israel, Russia, Rumania, Bulgaria, Hungary, USA, Chile and of course in Germany. The duo prefers to perform in places that have special acoustics like churches or museums, where the extraordinary sound of the brass and wind instruments unfolds best.

Their first duo CD “Thinking about” has been released by the german label AKTIVRAUM. There you can also find “Symbiosis”, works by Markus Stockhausen for clarinet, trumpet and string orchestra, as well as “Symphonic Colours” with large ensembles, and “Eternal Voyage”, which features musicians from five different nations. „Spaces and spheres“ is their last release of intuitive music on the german label WERGO, featuring Stefano Scodannibbio on bass, Marc Nauseef on percussion, and Fabrizio Ottaviucci on piano.
